| For
the past 2 years I have been working on the Stop Stroke Project investigating
stroke secondary prevention. I have a background in health psychology
and am interested in using qualitative methods for investigating health
behaviour, concordance issues, patients and professionals' perspectives
on stroke, perceptions of chronic illness, the impact of health services.
My previous research included a national survey of consultants and
health authority managers into acute stroke services, and a survey
into the appropriateness of outpatient care in the North Thames region. |
