| I have been working with the Stroke Team
since December 2001. I previously worked in a variety of community
settings with older adults including emergency outreach, assessment
and rehabilitation. My academic backgound is in psychology and I
completed an MSc in Health Promotion Sciences at the London School
of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2000.
I am currently working on the Recovery After Stroke Project. This
will use multi level models to quantify the pattern of recovery
after stroke over time. We are currently at the data collection
stage, observing frequent functional outcome measures on a cohort
of an extended SLSR.
I am interested in patient and professionals’ perceptions
of recovery, rehabilitation and post stroke depression.
