Welcome to the Stroke Research Team

The Stroke Research Team are based in Guys Campus, Capital House. We are a multidisciplinary team drawing on expertise from a range of research and health related disciplines including epidemiologists, stroke physicians, GPs, social scientists, statisticians and health economists.

Central to our internationally recognised stroke programme is the South London Stroke Register (SLSR). Our research interests also include: epidemiology of stroke; natural history, stroke outcomes, access to and evaluation of services, stroke prevention, aetiology and classification of stroke, patients' experiences and perspectives, and methodological development.
